Local Community Connections

St Hildeburgh's has strong links in the local community. Alongside community events and facilities provided at the church and in the Church Centre, St Hildeburgh's is linked to the local primary school (Hoylake Holy Trinity), the local RNLI lifeboats, Hoylake's 472 Squadron Air Training Corps, and many care and residential homes.
Holy Trinity Primary School Hoylake:

Holy Trinity Primary School Hoylake, was founded by the Parish of Hoylake in the nineteenth century, and the school and church have a strong relationship today. Our Ministry Team holds regular worship at the school, while pupils and teachers have special services at St Hildeburgh's. Many pupils and parents at the school are regular worshippers at the church. Rev Paul (Vicar) and a member of St Hildeburgh's congregation are school governors.

Hoylake and West Kirby RNLI Lifeboats:

There are strong links between our local lifeboat crews, volunteers and support staff with St. Hildeburgh's. Rev Paul (Vicar) is Lifeboat Chaplain, and St Hildeburgh's holds an annual service for the lifeboats at the church (a major civic occasion), which is followed by a barbecue in the grounds of the Vicarage.
Hoylake Air Training Corps:

Rev Paul (Vicar) is chaplain to 472 Squadron (Hoylake) Air Training Corps. Special services are provided at St Hildeburgh's for the corps.
